Papaya Banana Smoothie

This papaya banana smoothie is a healthy, vitamin-packed, cancer-fighting treat.

It’s a great breakfast choice or an even better choice for a mid-afternoon snack. The ingredients are great for your immune system and your digestive system.

 

Ingredients:

1 cup of milk, your choice

¼ cup Greek style yogurt

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

½ ripe papaya, peeled, seeded and chopped

1 banana, peeled and sliced

1 cup ice cubes

Slice or 2 of fresh lime, optional

 

Procedures:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a large glass and add a squeeze of lime.
